Dear James,

The Brotherton Library is named after Edward Allen Brotherton (1 April 1856 - 21 October 1930). He was Member of Parliament for Wakefield (in West Yorkshire, England) 1902-1910 and 1918-1922 and a benefactor of Leeds university.
