University of Leeds staff and students can access the Bridgeman Education's database with over 330,000 images from galleries, museums and private collections with a new app. The app allows you to search, view images and their metadata, and create and save slide shows (once you have created a profile and registered on your computer).
Bridgeman Education is available in the library catalogue. To get the app, visit the app store on your iPhone 4, iTouch, or iPad or via iTunes. (Requires iOS 4.1 or later.) Then come to the Arts and Social Sciences office in the Brotherton Library so that library staff can activate it for you. To make an appointment to see the fine arts and design librarian, email: r.v.roberto@leeds.ac.uk.
